I’m Thomas Ward, a media audio practitioner currently living between New York, NY and San Francisco, CA. I am experienced in multiple facets of audio for games, including sound design, audio programming, middleware implementation, and music composition. I’ve been engaged in music and videogames since I was young; as such, I am deeply passionate about videogames, the unique narratives they can tell, and how audio design can greatly elevate the entire experience.

Beyond audio skills, I’m also a game developer, frequently working with teams on hobby game projects and game jams. I also work on my own solo game projects, often being artistic explorations of my own perspectives on art and creation. I consider myself an artistic person as much as I do a technical one; I am a practicing contemporary classical composer, which forms the core of my artistic perspective, and which is frequently a source of inspiration for me when working in audio.
